Screaming kids in Church

One of the great tragedies in our Orthodox Church is that it was ever deemed permissible, or even encouraged, to separate our children from the Divine Liturgy. Personally, I had never heard of this practice until I talked to some people who grew up with it.  Since then I’ve heard all sorts of arguments about why they need removed - none of which are convincing, of course - and I’ve offered all sorts of words why it’s necessary for them to be present.

Here is a fine reflection on children making noise in church - it’s well written, interesting and hits the nail on the head  (especially the last few paragraphs).
